Thoughts and Musings from your local REALTOR, Animal Care Specialist, Xennial living in the Midwest.

Spring is on the horizon. March was amazing! Here's what happened in my world.
REAL ESTATE UPDATES
The Animal Rescue Expo was a success! Samantha Hart and I had our Gambino booth and shared some awesome informtaion on pet first aid, tips and tricks on buying/selling a home when you have pets and had a blast the whole day! I got my first listing of the year in the great town of Pecatonica, succesfully negotiated a contract for one of my buyers in Rochelle, and helped my client find and lease a commercial spot in Belvidere for their awesome new business! I also attened the Tri-County Awards lunch celebrating their successes.
ANIMAL CARE UPDATES
Just like always, as the real estate picks up the animal care slows down. Not much was going on this month. Some things to keep in mind as the weather warms up. Make sure to get your flea and tick prevention started now. My "kids" have certainly been enjoying the warmer days.
MARGE UPDATES
The March installment of the Bowen Year of Shennanigans was awesome. We did brunch and movie. The movie was so bad it was great and our brunch at The Norwegian was amazing! My friends and I "got our nerd on" at two different events this month. The Faire Folk Spring Revel put on by Awkward Nerd Events at the Pabst Brewery in Milwaukee and the Fantasy Fae Ball put on by Court of Dream events and She Hive 815 at The Standard in Rockford. It was so much fun and the different outfits everyone was wearing were awesome!!
As always focus on the good as much as you dwell in the bad. Here's the good :)
