Thoughts and Musings from your local REALTOR, Animal Care Specialist, Xennial living in the Midwest.

Spring is here! April was a whirlwind! Here's what happened in my world.

REAL ESTATE UPDATES

Two closings this month in Pecatonica and Rochelle! I had the pleasure of working with two great families, one selling their first home and one buying their first. Both transactions went incredibly smoothly.

I attended a fundraiser for Rockford Area Pride at University Club where I met some pretty awesome people.

I was also able to advocate for my clients at the Illinois REALTORS® Capitol Conference Lobby Day.

ANIMAL CARE UPDATES

I was happy to help two of my favorite clients this month. One was a scheduled visit, the other was due to emergency. I am so thankful of the position I am in to be able to make sure that my clients are taken care of even for the unplanned things life throws at us.

Kitten and newborn wildlife season is upon us. Please remember that if you find a baby animal to not try to feed it! Contact me or a local wildlife rehabilitator right away.

MARGE UPDATES

With the warmer days I was able to enjoy some time outside with my "kids". The April installment of Bowen Year of Shenanigans was an amazing Madison trip with my dad. We walked downtown for a bit, explored a giant antique store and checked out the Epic Campus and their awesome architecture!

As always, focus on the good as much as you dwell in the bad. Here's the good :)
